I though I would suggest a few outfit ideas that include a striped top. I have particularly been loving this simple long sleeved top, which I found at a reasonable price in Topshop, as it adds interest to an otherwise boring outfit. Here are a few easy suggestions of what you could pair with this winter wardrobe essential.

My first suggestion is to wear the stripes alongside the classic denim buttoned down skirt. It compliments perfectly and overall creates a casual outfit with a funky, retro vibe. I'm also obsessed with this dusty pink, faux fur coat (Miss selfridge) that ties the look together and keeps you nice and warm! |
If you would prefer to add some colour then try pairing the stripes with a cute pinafore. This corduroy piece is also from Topshop and comes in a range of different colours such as dusty pink, burgundy (seen above) and navy blue. I think all three colours would go well and create a more sophisticated outfit for winter.
